It has the largest low profile platform in its class measuring 15” x 18” x 2.5”, the low-platform (2.5”) of the DB100 provides safe access and stability. The digital DB100 scale comes with a user friendly interface of digital functions such as Body Mass Index (BMI). Both patient and caregiver can easily read the weight in the 1” back lit conveniently positioned display. The scale is also equipped with a practical Auto-Hold feature that shows the weight even after the patient has left the scale. Even if the patient moves an accurate weight result is ensured by our Sta-Bilt stabilizing software system. An integrated RS232/USB interface guarantees the reliable transmission of data to a PC. Having been the original inventor of the first digital beam scale for Tanita.I am thrilled to see significant advances in this category for whether for personal use, weight loss centers, clinics, medical office/hospital environment. Extremely large & stable base platform, best height rod in the business, huge backlit display (no glasses required to read data) for any vision impaired persons. Extremely high weight capacity for large people. Accuracy/repeatability is excellent. Unit aesthetics are extremely well thought out to blend with home of professional decor. Multiple means of smart interface (USB, Blue Tooth, RS232) is also a really nice feature to save or communicate data. This is an excellent example of taking a good idea and making it better.
