I got my first pair of joewell sheers when I was in beauty school 27 years ago as a gift from my father in law. I have bought a couple other pairs of cheaper sheers over the years but always went back to my handy dandy joewells. Finally decided I needed a new pair and was also needing a good set of thinning shears. These had the added bonus of the chunker sheers and a feather razor and the small flat iron. Not overly impressed with the feather razor because I guess you have to buy special blades for them. The feather razor I have now is awesome. It is a Jatai that I also purchased on amazon, and I get the feather razor refills at Sally's. So not impressed that it might be difficult to find refill blades for it. The mini flat iron was okay. I actually gave the feather razor and flat iron to a friend that just got her license. With that said, I don't want to leave an impression that I am dissatisfied with the main part of the product. The scissors are amazing. And I love the chunkers! I have wanted to get a pair forever and must admit that it was a a bit scary to cut those first few chunks, but then it just got fun. I cut a lot of textured styles and these are wonderful. Glad to see that joewell still offers a great product after all these years.
