This cleaner is great!!! It makes even an incredibly dirty carpet look like new and it only takes an hour, max (including the 30 minutes to let it absorb the dirt). I have two early teen kids and a chocolate lab and a very light color carpet (almost white). first time I tried this, i thought there was no way it would do much having tried other cleaners, but in an hour it looked almost as good as new. I use it now every 4-6 weeks. They say it really helps with dust and mites, etc and with allergies. It actually seems to help with my daughter's dust allergies, but I dont have any real proof of that.

I really cant say enough. It isnt cheap and you can rent a similar system, call a HOST carpet cleaning system, but at about %50 a pop, you will get your money back in a year... and be glad you got it.

BTW.. HOST makes a carpet cleaning powder too, which also works very well. The SEBO seems to clean better and faster, but the HOST leaves your house smelling better. I plan to alternate them, myself.
