I really don't have anything to compare it to since this is my first one, but I love the heat function - it doesn't heat up the solution, but it's nice to blow warm air on my clients right after the chilly spray! It's easy, I don't change anything ever. The only thing I can say that is a bummer is that the cup on the gun leaks quite often. Other then that, it is a great gun - nice, fine mist.
