If you're used to an aluminum walker and you need something that will probably never break down, this may be for you. But it is like a tank compared to aluminum walkers, and smaller-framed/petite people would not be able to use it.I'm 6 feet tall, 280 pounds, with a 46-inch waist and very broad shoulders. And this walker has about 30 percent more width than my old aluminum one. It's also 14 pounds, so it is somewhat more difficult to put in the back seat of the car.
That being said, this is the sturdiest folding walker I've ever seen. The front wheels are essentially like those on baby strollers. There are small wheels on the back and behind the back wheels are rubber stoppers like on the end of a cane. So it's good for just pushing in front of you to protect your balance, and when you put pressure on the handholds the stoppers will keep you in place.
It's definitely large enough to fit around any conventional toilet.
Overall, it is heavy and somewhat unwieldy but it is built for reliability and duration. But DO NOT buy this if you have a small frame.
