SierraComfort Luxe Portable Massage Table, Wine Review

I recently purchased this product for use in home.
1: There are not instructions of any sort. Neither listing parts, operation, or for care. The product is pretty intuitive so I wouldn't think you would need instructions for assembly. But where things go and how to put them there would be of value. Also care instructions would also be of help.

2: The product is slightly different than that pictured. There are actually head rest holes on both ends of the table (this is a good thing). However the head rest doesn't fit into any of the holes. In an effort to fit the head rest into the holes one of the plastic pieces in the hole actually broke. I couldn't even get more than two inches of only one of the spokes into the hole. This part of the table was not built correctly. The plastic pieces in the holes are not big enough to allow the head rest spokes to slip in. This should be a simple process and should not require a herculean effort. Tried both sides and it was a no go.

Other than this the table appears to be very sturdy. Unfortunately without the head rest this table is useless to me. There is no slot in the table surface to put the head like in the other models from Sierra.

Currently trying to return this product. Will update once this process is concluded.

Edit (2/13/2012): The company got back to me and handled the situation effectively. Honestly I was very pleased at how well they handled the situation. They were quick and courteous. Thus moving it up to 3 stars from 2 stars. As stated above other than the headrest not fitting to the table the table is well built.

HT-3020 Manhattan Massage Chair Review

I have only sat in this chair at the furniture store for about 5 mins. I left the store and my back and neck felt so good. This convinced me to buy this chair for my boyfriend who suffers from chronic back pain. I truly hope this chair arrives before Christmas but if not that's ok too. I also hope my boyfriend enjoys the chair as much as I did for the 5 mins. I will write a more complete reveiw after we receive it and use it for a while. I struggled because there were no reviews yet on Amazon for this. I do know it has more features then the ijoy chair which is cheaper than this one and the ijoy does not have a leg rest. The leg rest on this Manhattan chair is powered by the remote- not sure if that is a good hting or not. Quick get ups from the chair one wouldn't have time to wait for the chair to go back to the sitting level. I also hope the motor/robotics last a long time. This chair is also not all leather...I beleive they did that in order to make the massage more realistic and it felt worth it! Will write another review later...

There are two types of this particular loupe. One has a single slide to adjust the eye pieces, the other type had adjustment knobs so that each eye piece could be adjusted independently. The single slide is easier to adjust. However, if the distance between your pupils is not equal, you will need the the loupes with independent adjustment knobs. Swartz Optical did not mention a choice, and sent the single slide loupes. They were very good about exchanging them, and also kept up with a multitude of emails regarding the exchange, but it took several weeks for the exchange to happen which was frustrating. I was also concerned about the safety glasses being comfortable. Much to my surprise they fit well and were very comfortable. The clarity of the optics is excellent.

Pathfinder Turning Leg Caddy Review

All of the turning caddies are great, but I found this to be the best. I visited several medical supply companies to try out as many caddies before investing a good amount of money on one. This TLC Pathfinder has the best of everything:

1 - large wheels that travel smoothly over hardwood, carpet, and even my front lawn
2 - narrow profile allowing for fitting into tight spots
3 - easy and secure adjustment of steering column and seat
4 - two separate cushions with the gap allowing for upper part of cast/boot not to bear into the shin
5 - left and right handbrake with locking buttons
6 - lightweight yet very sturdy (solid stuff that I can lift easily with one arm)
7 - compact and nicely balanced (easily fits in my Accord's trunk with only having to fold down the steering column)
8 - cool looking

Fo anyone who is going to be required to use crutches for any length of time, a leg caddy is a must. I live on my own and this caddy has allowed me to be completely independent; something I wouldn't be able to do on crutches while not being able to bear any weight on my bad leg.
