This product worked beautifully about the first three times in use. When the unit was picked up by its designated handles, the outer casing broke apart from the rest of the unit. After an exhaustive search on the Amazon site to find with whom we could speak/email questions to about this product (a company called RC Mart ~ whoever that is or where) we learned via email, that we could return the unit for repairs --on our dime, and then they would return it--again when we were to pay for the shipping (from CA to IN). By shipping it to CA, how were we to know if the unit that came back to us was the one we sent, or perhaps a refurbished used one, or if we would get one back at all, in turn causing us to lose the money we had paid. After paying $239.95 for the unit + shipping (a Christmas gift for a family member), I expected much better service from both RC Mart and Amazon. In turn, the motor and components still work, only with a luggage strap wrapped around the entire unit to keep it together. My advice...only buy books from Amazon.

I tried it three days after I received it. I used both functions; neck and the lower back. I observed two things:

1. My back felt so good after 3 sessions of 45 minutes each, what disappointed me is that the machine doesn't do any waist rocking as indicated in the leaflet. Well, it did help even though the usual pain I feel radiating from the lower back down in the right leg is still a pest. But hey, this is just too early to say anything such about its effectiveness!

2. I tried it on my neck and I had a sore neck the whole day. Should I try it on my neck again?? Not right now, but I will.
